Tofu with Preserved Egg Recipe

(Century Egg)

Ingredients :

1 piece (7 oz)


1 stalk

1 tablespoon

2 tablespoons

1/4 teaspoon

1 tablespoon

Soft tofu

Preserved eggs

Preserved mustard greens

Small dried shrimp

Creamy soy sauce

Sesame oil

Chopped spring onion

Method :
  • Remove the shells of the preserved eggs and then cube.

  • Scaled preserved mustard greens in hot water.

  • Then cool under cold running water.

  • Squeeze dry and chop finely.

  • Soften dried shrimp in water, then scald in hot water.

  • Drip dry then chop the dried shrimp finely.

  • Cube tofu and line a plate. Spread the preserved eggs over the tofu.

  • Spread the shrimp and preserved mustard greens over the preserved eggs, sprinkle with creamy soy sauce and sesame oil.

  • Then sprinkle with chopped spring onion for serving.

Note : If you do not like dried shrimp, you may replace it with pork floss. The flavor is just as good.
