       Ingredients : Serves 5 5 
		unripe bananas 
      
		Salt to taste 
      1
      teaspoon turmeric, ground 
      
      1/4 cup cooking oil 
      2
      cups coconut milk 
      1 
		small onion, sliced finely 
      
		3 fresh green chilies, seeded and sliced 
      2
      teaspoons dried shrimps, pounded 
      
      1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds 
      
		10 curry leaves 
		
		Small stick cinnamon 
		  
      
      Method :
		To prevent your hands from being stained 
		by the unripe bananas, apply some oil to your hands. Peel the bananas 
		and cut into halves crossways. Then into slices. or quarters lengthways. 
		Rub with salt and turmeric. Heat a frying pan with oil and fry the 
		banana slices until they are golden brown evenly. Fry only a few at a 
		time. Remove and set aside. Use a saucepan and put in all the other 
		remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered until onion is soft. Add the 
		fried bananas and simmer until the gravy thickens. Serve hot.
