Lamb Spare Ribs Recipe

Ingredients :

1/2 kg

1 1/2 tablespoons

4 tablespoons

 

Marinade

3 tablespoons

1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

Lamb spare ribs

Honey

Tomato ketchup

Oil for brushing

 

Brown vinegar

Garlic paste

Ginger paste

Sugar

Salt

Red chili powder

Black pepper powder

Powdered aniseed

Powdered star anise

Powdered cinnamon

Method :
  • Wash ribs and pat dry.

  • Combine ingredients for marinade, mix in ribs and marinate for 4-6 hours.

  • Stir in honey and tomato ketchup and leave for 15 minutes more.

  • Grill ribs in an electric grill preheated to 200oC for 7-8 minutes on each side.

  • Brush with a little oil before serving.

  • You may also shallow fry the ribs in a non-stick pan till crisp.
