Honeyed Pork Steaks Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 4

150 ml/0.25 pt tomato ketchup (catsup)
30 ml/2 tbsp clear honey
30 ml/2 tbsp lemon juice
30 ml/2 tbsp oil
15 ml/1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

4 pork steaks
4 tomatoes

Method :

Mix together the ketchup, honey, lemon juice, oil and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over a low heat until warm through. Pour over the steaks in a shallow dish and leave to marinate for 30 minutes, turning once. Cook under a medium grill (broiler) for about 30 minutes, basting frequently with the marinade while cooking. Cut a cross in the tomatoes and add them to the grill for the final 5 minutes of cooking.
