Tofu and Ham Rolls Recipe

Soft tofu

Ham slices

Seaweed wrapper (sushi)

Salt

Head broccoli

 

 

Vegetable stock

Cornstarch

Pepper

Soy sauce

Salt

Sesame oil

Method :
  • Cut each piece of tofu into 4 pieces and coat with salt.

  • Cut ham into same size as tofu.

  • Cut sushi wrapper crosswise into 2 cm wide strips.

  • Cut broccoli into small florets, blanch in boiling water, then rinse under cold water.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in wok.

  • Stir-fry broccoli until heated through.

  • Arrange on the edge of plate for garnish.

  • Put a slice of ham on a slice of tofu.

  • Wrap around center with a sushi wrapper, seal edge with flour batter or egg.

  • Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a wok.

  • Fry tofu rolls until hot, remove and place on serving plate.

  • Mix ingredients A well and cook to thicken, then spread over tofu rolls.

  • Serve hot.

Note : Tofu and ham are pre-cooked and only need to be heated. This will keep the tofu tender. The seaweed wrappers in this recipe are specially made for sushi.
