Steamed Layered Tofu Sheet Recipe

Layered tofu sheets

Bicarbonate of soda

Ground pork

Spring onions

Small dried shrimp

Soy sauce


Sesame oil

Leafy vegetables








Vegetables stock



Method :
  • Put 3 cups water in a bowl.

  • Add bicarbonate of soda and mix well.

  • Add tofu sheets and soak for 2 hours.

  • When the tofu sheet turns white, scoop out and wash with water.

  • Soften dried shrimp in water.

  • Wash and clean. Mix together with ground pork and spring onion, then chop.

  • Add soy sauce, salt, sesame oil and cornstarch, mix well.

  • Take 1 tofu sheet. Put the meat mixture on it and roll into a long strip.

  • Glue the end part of it with the mixed item of ingredient A.

  • Steam in a steamer for 12 minutes.

  • Remove and slice diagonally.

  • Scald leafy vegetable in hot water. Remove and cool under cold running water.

  • Dip in hot oil, then line neatly on a plate in a radius fashion.

  • Place the cooked tofu rolls on top of the vegetables.

  • Mix ingredient B and boil until thickens.

  • Pour over the tofu rolls for serving.
