Dry-Braised Tofu with Pork Recipe

Ingredients :

2 pieces (10 oz)

Pork belly



Cooking wine

Soy sauce



Method :
  • Cut tofu into strips and coat each pieces with salt evenly.

  • Heat 3 tablespoons oil in wok to fry until golden brown.

  • Scoop out.

  • Diagonally slice leek bulb.

  • Shred the green leave part and set aside.

  • Wash and clean pork.

  • Cut into strips about thumb size.

  • Put in wok and fry until golden brown.

  • Add leek bulb and fry until fragrant.

  • Put fried tofu in wok, add soy sauce, sugar, wine and 1/2 cup water.

  • Cover with lid until water is absorbed.

  • Stir and turn twice during cooking.

  • Scoop onto plate and sprinkle with the green shredded leek for serving.

Optional - Pork belly may be omitted and only use tofu. The softness tofu combined with the fragrance of leek will make a delicious dish.
