Deep-Fried Tofu Sheet with Shrimp Rolls Recipe

Tofu sheets

Shelled shrimp

Water chestnuts

Fatty pork

Egg

Cornstarch

Salt

Sesame oil

Yellow Chinese chives

Pepper to taste

Method :
  • Cook fatty pork in water.

  • Place in refrigerator for about 1 hour.

  • Remove and chop finely.

  • Devein shrimp, wash and clean, then wipe dry and chop finely.

  • Remove shells from water chestnuts and chop finely.

  • Wash and clean chives and then chop finely.

  • Mix pork, shrimp, water chestnuts and chives together.

  • Add egg, salt, pepper, sesame oil and cornstarch. Mix well.

  • Cut each tofu sheet into 3 equal rectangular portions.

  • Spread tofu sheet flat.

  • Fill with shrimp mixture and roll into a long strip.

  • Glue ends with the mixed ingredients A.

  • Heat 3 cups oil in a wok.

  • Put shrimp rolls in and deep-fry until golden brown.

  • Scoop out and serve hot.
