Crabmeat and Tofu in Tomato Sauce Recipe

Ingredients :

Soft tofu

Crabs

Ginger juice

Salt

Ketchup

Sugar

Vinegar

Sesame oil

Cornstarch

Vegetable stock

Method :
  • Wash the crab, then scoop out the roe and meat.

  • Horizontally cut tofu in half, cut again into a 3 cm  thick quarters.

  • Dig a crater in the middle of the tofu and and sprinkle evenly with salt.

  • Fill the crater with crabmeat.

  • Place crab roe on top of each tofu.

  • Place the crabmeat tofu on a plate.

  • Steam in steamer for 8 minutes, remove.

  • Put the remaining crabmeat, ketchup, sugar, vinegar and ginger juice in the stock to bring to boil.

  • Thicken with cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water.

  • Sprinkle with sesame oil.

  • Pour the cooked crabmeat tomato sauce evenly over the steamed tofu for serving.

  • Serve hot.
