Braised Tomato with Tofu Recipe

Tomato

Celery

Leek

Ketchup

Cooking wine

Sugar

Salt

Method :
  • Separate leek bulb from leek greens.

  • Cut the bulb diagonally and shred the leaf portion.

  • Remove old veins from celery, rinse and cut into pieces.

  • Rinse and slice the tomato.

  • Cube tofu.

  • Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons oil in a wok.

  • Stir-fry leek bulb until fragrant.

  • Add tomato and stir-fry until fragrant.

  • Sprinkle with wine.

  • Add tofu and stir-fry.

  • Cover with lid and braise for 5 minutes.

  • Add ketchup, celery, sugar and salt.

  • Stir-fry evenly.

  • Lastly sprinkle with shredded leek for serving.
