Vegetable Stock Recipe

Ingredients : Makes 1 liter
or 4 1/4 cups |
2 carrots, sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 celery sticks, sliced
1 turnip, chopped
1 liter/4.5 cups water 6 black peppercorns
1 bay leaf

Method :
Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan, bring to the boil, cover
and simmer gently for 1.5 hours. Strain. |
