1/2 Iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 melon, skinned, seeded and cubed
100 g/4 oz strawberries, sliced cucumber, sliced
60 ml/4 tbsp French Dressing
30 ml/2 tbsp chopped mint
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
50 g/2 oz/0.5 cup flaked (slivered) almonds
Method :
Place the lettuce on a serving plate and arrange the melon, strawberries
and cucumber attractively on top. Mix the French Dressing with the mint
and season to taste with salt and pepper. Just before serving, pour the
dressing over the salad, then sprinkle with the almonds.
