Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe

Pork
Fish fillet
Small round green peppers
Salt
Rice wine or dry sherry
Soy sauce
cornstarch
Sugar
Garlic, crushed
Crushed black bean sauce
Oil

Method :

Finely chop the pork and
fish.

Mix with a little salt and
cornstarch.

Wash the green peppers,
cut them in half and remove the seeds and stalks.

Stuff them with the meat
and fish mixture, sprinkle with a little cornstarch.

Heat up 1 tablespoon oil
in a flat frying pan.

Put in the stuffed
peppers, meat side down and fry gently for 4 minutes, adding a
little more oil from time to time.

When the meat side turns
golden, add the crushed garlic, bean sauce, rice wine or sherry,
sugar and a little stock or water.

Simmer for 2-3 minutes,
then add soy sauce and a little cornstarch mixed with cold water.

Serve as soon as the gravy
thickens.
