Nyonya Stir Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients :

300 g


1/2 cup


2 tablespoons

1 teaspoon

3 stalks

Chicken meat, cubed

Red chilies, cubed

Mint leaves

Green pepper (capsicum)

Teriyaki sauce

Dried basil

Vietnamese mint (Daun Kesom)

Sugar and salt to taste

Cornflour mixture

Method :
  • Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok.

  • Stir fry the chicken meat and chilies until cooked.

  • Add teriyaki sauce, dried basil, Vietnamese mint, sugar and salt.

  • Stir fry evenly.

  • Stir in the cornflour mixture.

  • Sprinkle mint leaves on top and serve on a plate.

Note : Marinating the chicken with soy sauce and cornflour will softens the meat texture.
