Meat/Beef Burgers Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 4

450 g/1 lb ground lean beef

100 g/4 oz breadcrumbs

1 finely chopped onion
10 ml/2 tsp mixture of herbs (dried)

Ground black pepper

1 egg, beaten
30 ml/2 tbsp cooking oil
4 baps or other large soft rolls

5 lettuce leaves
60 ml/4 tbsp of cucumber relish

4 sliced gherkin

Potato fries, to serve

Method :

Blend all the beef, onions, breadcrumbs, as well as the mixed herbs. Then season according to your taste. Mix with the egg and mold it into a burger shape. Heat up the cooking oil and saute the shapped beef burgers until cooked and evenly browned on both sides. Cut the rolls and put the lettuce on the bottom part. Position the meat burgers at the top and cover up using the cucumber relish together with gherkins, or perhaps other pickles of your liking. Top with the other half of the roll and dish out along with potato chips.
