Avocado and Tuna Mousse Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 4

1 avocado, peeled, stoned (pitted) and halved
5 ml/1 tsp lemon juice
200 g/7 oz/1 small can of tuna, drained

30 ml/2 tbsp plain yoghurt
5 ml/1 tsp Tabasco sauce
Freshly ground black pepper
Crisp or melba toast, to serve

Method :

Puree the avocado flesh and lemon juice in a food processor or blender, then add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth. Taste and add more pepper and Tabasco, if liked. Pile into a serving dish and chill before serving with crisp or melba toast.
