Shrimp Kerabu Recipe

Ingredients :

250g  (1 cup)

25g (1/4 cup)

2 tablespoons

1 tablespoon

3 tablespoons

1/2 teaspoon

300g (11 oz)

280g (1 cup)

250ml (1 cup)

Shredded cabbage

Thinly sliced shallots

Sambal Belacan

Chopped wild ginger flower (bunga kantan) optional

Lime juice

Salt

Large shrimps, poached and peeled

Shredded cucumber

Thick coconut milk

Method :
  • Briefly blanch the shredded cabbage by pouring boiling water over it, then drain.

  • Combine the shallots, sambal belacan, wild ginger flower, lime juice and salt,

  • Add the shrimps, cucumber, cabbage and coconut milk.

  • Mixed well.

  • Serve immediately with steamed white rice.
