Pork with Asparagus Recipe

Ingredients :

Firm tofu

Cooking oil

Garlic, crushed

Pork mince

Red chili, seeded and finely sliced

Garlic chives, finely chopped

Oyster sauce

Fish sauce

Sugar

Method :
  • Trim the asparagus and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place the asparagus in a heatproof bowl, cover it with boiling water and stand for 3 minutes, drain.
  • Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place a wok over high heat. When it is very hot, add the oil and swirl it around.
  • Add the garlic, pork and chili, and quickly brown the meat while tossing.
  • When the meat has browned, add the asparagus and tofu and combine well.
  • Add the garlic chives, oyster sauce, fish sauce and sugar and stir through the pork mixture.
  • Serve immediately with rice.
