White Radish Salad Recipe

(Mu Saingchai)

Dressing

Giant white radishes

Cooking apples

Spring onions

Juice of half lemon

 

Light soy sauce

Salad oil

Sesame oil

Mild vinegar

Sugar

Salt

Toasted, crushed sesame seeds

Fresh hot red chili, seeded and finely chopped

Method :
  • Peel radishes and cut into matchstick strips.

  • Peel apples and cut into similar strips, and soak in cold water with a good squeeze of lemon juice to prevent discoloration.

  • Slice the spring onions very finely, including white and green portions.

  • Combine all remaining ingredients and toss with the radish, well-drained apple and spring onion.

  • Cover and chill before serving.
