Braised Spinach with Pork Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 6

Fresh spinach

Pork fillet

Garlic

Oil

Light soy sauce

Ground black pepper

Spring onions, finely chopped

Egg, beaten

Toasted, crushed sesame seeds

Method :
  • Wash spinach well, remove the tough stems and break leaves into large pieces.

  • Dice the pork very small.

  • Chop garlic finely.

  • In a wok heat the oil and fry the pork and garlic, stirring constantly, until pork changes color.

  • Add spinach and toss well, season with soy sauce and pepper.

  • Cover and simmer on low heat until spinach is tender.

  • Add spring onions and egg and stir well over medium heat for 2 minutes.

  • Then sprinkle with sesame seed and serve hot with rice.
