Mixed the minced beef, egg and salt. Shape
the mixture into balls and set on a tray. Brush the meat balls with oil
ans steam until cooked. Heat a wok with oil and saute the shallots until
golden brown. Then add the ground spices, galangal, chilies, salam
leaves and tomato. Then pour in coconut milk. Simmer over low heat,
stirring occasionally. Add meatballs to the gravy and simmer over low
heat. Continue stirring until the gravy is thick and oily. Season to
taste and serve.
