            1 teaspoon tamarind

            Salt to taste

            2 salam leaves

1 stalk lemon grass, bruised (white
			part only)

            75 g brown sugar

            Spices (ground)

            1 tablespoon cilantro, roasted

            1 teaspoon tamarind

            5 cloves garlic

            5 shallots

            1 tablespoon galangal, chopped

      Method :

Remove the fats and sinew from the beef
before slicing. Place the beef slices on a hard surface and pound it
with the back of a knife to tenderize them. Mix the flattened beef with
cilantro powder and sugar. Knead until thoroughly mixed. Heat up a wok
and simmer the beef over low heat until the juices are absorbed and the
beef is tender. Set aside. Boil all the ingredients except the beef and
brown sugar in 250cc water until the water is absorbed. When the
shredded coconut turns golden brown, add in the beef and brown sugar.
Stir until the beef is completed coated with the coconut. Serve hot with
		white rice.
