Minced Meat with Fresh Peas Recipe

Ingredients :

500 g minced meat

1 cup fresh green peas

1 large onion, sliced finely

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated finely

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

2 tablespoons ghee

1/2 cup yogurt

1 teaspoon garam masala

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves, chopped finely

1 fresh red chili, sliced finely

Salt to taste

 

Method :

Heat a wok with ghee and fry the onion until soft. Add the ginger and garlic and fry until the onion is golden brown. Add chili powder and turmeric and stir for a few seconds. Add meat and fry, turning the meat constantly until the color changes. Stir in the yogurt and peas, cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes.  Add garam masala and continue cooking until meat and peas are tender. Serve garnished with coriander leaves and chili.
