Method :

Press the dried
shrimp paste into a flat cake.

Wrap in foil
and put under a hot griller for 15 minutes, turning to cook both sides.

Wrap onions and
garlic in foil and put under griller with the dried shrimp paste.

These
ingredients are pounded together in a mortar and pestle and the
remaining ingredients mixed in.

Alternatively,
the crumbled dried shrimp paste, peeled onions and garlic can be blended
in an electric blender with lemon juice and combined with other
ingredients.
Note : To be
eaten in very small quantities with rice as accompaniments.
