Large onion, finely chopped
Fish sauce
Lemon grass, finely sliced crossways
Garlic, finely chopped
Spring onions, finely chopped
Chili powder
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Put in the chopped onion and fry for a few seconds.
Pour in the fish sauce and bring to the boil.
Remove from heat and immediately add lemon grass, garlic, spring onions and chili powder.
Allow to cool.
