(Blend until smooth)

Red snapper fishes

Dried shrimp

Shallots

Garlic

Candlenuts

Dried shrimp paste (belacan)

Red chilies

Sugar

Method :
  • Make a few deep cuts on the fish body.

  • Rub salt all over it.

  • Stuff sambal ingredients into the cuts.

  • Place the fish on a grill rack and pour in 2 tablespoons of oil on the surface.

  • Put the fish in a oven and bake at 250oC for 15 minutes.

  • Serve.
