Garlic paste

Ginger paste

Green chili paste

Red chili powder

Garam masala powder

Turmeric powder

Dry fenugreek leaves

Fresh tomato puree

Thick cream

 

 

Thick curd, whisked

Method :
  • Wash meat, pat dry and cut into 3 cm cubes.

  • Combine ingredients for marinade, mix in meat and marinate for 6 hours outside the refrigerator.

  • Grill meat over a charcoal fire for 4-5 minutes, till light brown.

  • You can also grill the meat in an electric grill preheated to 220oC for 7-8 minutes on each side till light brown.

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onions and fry till golden brown.

  • Mix in garlic, ginger and green chilies and fry for a further 2-3 minutes.

  • Add spice powders, salt, fenugreek leaves and tomato puree. Stir well and cook till gravy thickens.

  • Add meat and cook for 2-3 minutes longer.

  • Stir in cream, garnish with coriander and mint leaves, and serve.
