Meat and Spinach Kebab with Dry Fruit Filling Recipe

Filling

Mince (mutton, beef or pork)

Chopped spinach

Freshly ground spinach

Salt

Red chili powder

Garam masala powder

Tenderon powder

Allspice, powdered

Lightly roasted gram flour (besan)

Egg, lightly beaten

Oil for shallow frying

 

Chopped almonds

Chopped sultanas

Chironji

Ground dry coconut

Salt

Garam masala powder

Chopped green chilies

Chopped mint leaves

Method :
  • Combine first 9 ingredients and grind to a paste.

  • Add egg, mix well and divide into 16 portions.

  • Mix all ingredients for filling.

  • Flatten each portion of mince into a disc and put 1 teaspoon filling in the center.

  • Work mince around to cover filling and gently shape into a flat round kebab.

  • Heat oil for shallow frying in a non-stick pan and fry kebabs on both sides till light brown.
