Masala Chops Recipe

Ingredients :

Mutton chops

Oil

Medium onions, grated

Garlic paste

Ginger paste

Garam masala powder

Red chili powder

Turmeric powder

Salt

Fresh tomato puree

 

 

Green chilies, sliced

Chopped coriander leaves

Method :
  • Wash mutton chops and pat dry.

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onions, garlic and ginger, and fry till brown.

  • Sprinkle in spice powders and salt, and stir well.

  • Add chops, mix well and fry till golden brown.

  • Blend in tomato puree and fry till oil bubbles on the surface, stirring occasionally.

  • Stir in 1 1/2 cups water, cover pan and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, till chops are tender and gravy is thick.

  • Garnish with green chilies and coriander leaves, and serve with naan, tandoori bread or paratha.
