Ingredients :

Lamb spare ribs


Tomato ketchup

Oil for brushing


Brown vinegar

Garlic paste

Ginger paste



Red chili powder

Black pepper powder

Powdered aniseed

Powdered star anise

Powdered cinnamon

Method :
  • Wash ribs and pat dry.

  • Combine ingredients for marinade, mix in ribs and marinate for 4-6 hours.

  • Stir in honey and tomato ketchup and leave for 15 minutes more.

  • Grill ribs in an electric grill preheated to 200oC for 7-8 minutes on each side.

  • Brush with a little oil before serving.

  • You may also shallow fry the ribs in a non-stick pan till crisp.
