A pinch of salt
2.5 ml/0.5 tsp bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
Spread the rhubarb over the base of a greased 20 cm/8 in pie dish. Mix
together the orange juice and half the honey and trickle it over the
rhubarb. Dot with the butter or margarine. Mix together the egg, the
remaining honey, the vanilla essence and soured cream. Stir in the flour,
salt and bicarbonate of soda and spread the batter over the rhubarb. Bake
in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4 for 30 minutes until golden.
