Chartreuse Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 4

1 eating (dessert) apple, cored and sliced
225 g/8 oz seedless grapes

225 g/8 oz kiwi fruit, sliced

1 melon, cut into balls
100 g/4 oz/0.5 cup granulated sugar
150 ml/0.25 pt water

15 ml/1 tbsp lemon juice
15 ml/1 tbsp green Chartreuse

Method :

Mix the prepared fruits in a serving bowl. Bring the sugar and water to the boil and boil for 3 minutes. Leave to cool, then stir in the lemon juice and Chartreuse and pour over the fruit. Chill until required, stirring occasionally.
