Silver Fungus in Sweet Soup Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 6 |
|

Silver fungus
Water
Rock sugar or white sugar
Longans or lychees
Ice cubes

Method :
-
Wash silver fungus and soak in hot water
until it swells and softens, about 10 minutes.

Drain and put into a saucepan with sugar.

Bring to the boil, stirring until rock
sugar dissolves.

Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

Cool and chill.
-
Before serving combine with fruits and
syrup in a pretty serving bowl and add the ice cubes.

Serve in bowls with porcelain spoons.
-
Alternatively, serve warm or at room
temperature and omit the ice cubes
