Arrowroot Jelly Recipe

Ingredients :

2 teaspoons

250 ml

1 teaspoon

1 drop

Arrowroot powder

Water

Lime juice or few drops of vanilla

Red food coloring (optional)

Honey or sugar to taste

Method :
  • Mix the arrowroot with a tablespoon of cold water to a smooth cream.

  • Bring measured water to the boil in a small pan.

  • Stir in honey or sugar and when it has dissolved.

  • Stir in the arrowroot until it becomes thick and clear.

  • Add lime juice or vanilla and color to delicate pink.

  • Then pour into a glass dish or mould and leave to set.

  • Serve chilled.
